Binary Sequencer

The Binary Sequencer uses binary representations of the latin letters to create 8-step gate sequences. These sequences can also be rotated and flipped via the panel controls and CV inputs.

Gate Bus Receives
Pitch Bus –––
Input 1 (Main) Flip CV
Input 2 (Control) –––

Parameters:

  • Rate: sets the rate of the internal clock.
  • Pulse-Width: sets the pulse-width of all 8 steps.
  • Letter: selects which letter will be converted.
  • Rotate: rotates the sequence.
  • Flip Lock: flips and lock the sequence.

Clock Quartet

Inspired by the Tiptop Audio Trigger Riot module, Quartet combines 4 different clock (all created from the same main clock) with separate rate, pulse-width, time shift, and probability controls to create unique gate / trigger sequences.

Gate Bus Sends
Pitch Bus –––
Input 1 (Main) –––
Input 2 (Control) –––

Parameters:

  • Main Clock: sets the rate of the main (parent) clock.
  • Div: sets the division of the corresponding clock.
  • Shift: sets the time shift amount of the corresponding clock.
  • PW: sets the pulse-width of the corresponding clock.
  • Prob: sets the probability of the corresponding clock.
  • Mute: mutes the corresponding clock.

Gate Sequencer

Simple gate sequencer with separate sequences for probability and pulse-width.

Gate Bus Receives
Pitch Bus –––
Input 1 (Main) –––
Input 2 (Control) –––

Parameters:

  • View: Selects the sequence layer.
  • Clock: Switches between internal or external (Gate Bus) clock.
  • Rate: Sets the rate of the internal clock.
  • Steps: Sets the lenght of the sequencer.
  • C: Initializes the sequencer.
  • R: Generates a random sequence.

Sequential Rhythms

The Sequential Rhythms module is a 4-stage switcher that can be sequenced to create interesting gate rhythms.
Each of the stages can be set to a different clock division.
The built-in sequencer can be clocked internally or externally (via the Gate Bus) and can be set to 3 different modes: FWD (Forward), BWD (Backwards) or RND (Random).
This module also features a special CV mode which lets you control the stage selection via external CV.

Gate Bus Receives
Pitch Bus –––
Input 1 (Main) Switch (CV Mode)
Input 2 (Control) –––

Parameters:

  • Rate: sets the rate of the internal clock.
  • Clock: selects the clock source (Internal, Gate Bus or CV).
  • Direction: sets the sequencer direction.
  • Stage 1-4: sets the clock division for the corresponding stage.

VC Random Gates

Inspired by the Qu-Bit Electronix Nano Rand module, the VC Random Gates module generates musically quantized random gates which can be used to trigger envelopes, drum modules, etc.
With Complexity at 0%, the module will have a 70% probability of creating 1/4 notes. As you increate the Complexity amount, the module reduces the probability of generating quarter notes and increases the probability of creating shorter notes (1/6, 1/8, 1/12, 1/16, 1/32).

Gate Bus Sends
Pitch Bus –––
Input 1 (Main) CMPLX (Complexity CV Input)
Input 2 (Control) –––

Parameters:

  • Complexity: sets the complexity (probability vs rate) amount.
  • CV Amount: sets the amount of Complexity CV modulation (via CMPLX input).
